Mission Statement

During the summer of 2005, the current Board of Directors began meeting and addressing the idea of forming a new community bank to serve the people in the Rocky Mount-Tarboro area. These individuals, outstanding leaders of this region, recognized a need to provide banking services through a friendly, knowledgeable, and personal platform. From these meetings, Providence Bank was created and opened for business on March 14, 2006.

Providence Bank’s mission is to provide:
